The 31st edition of the LA Art Show, the largest and longest-running independent art fair in Los Angeles, will run from Wednesday, January 7, to Sunday, January 11 at the L.A. Convention Center’s West Hall. This year’s event will feature work from over 90 exhibitors representing art from across the globe, including paintings, sculpture, photography, and video.
Expanding International Reach
Producer and director Kassandra Voyagis is highlighting the fair’s increasingly international scope. The 2025 show will include representation from over 10 exhibitors from South Korea, as well as first-time participants Oliver Sears Gallery from Dublin, Ireland, and Corridor Contemporary from Tel Aviv, Israel.
A new invitation-only Latin American Pavilion, curated by Marisa Caichiolo – who has also been selected to co-curate Chile’s pavilion at the 2026 Venice Biennale – will debut this year. Organizers noted the pavilion’s message of inclusion is particularly relevant given the challenges faced by Latin American immigrants today.
Beyond the Galleries
The LA Art Show will also feature several notable exhibits. Attendees can view a solo show of rarely exhibited abstract paintings by Sylvester Stallone, presented by Provident Fine Arts of Palm Beach, Florida. The popular non-commercial platform DIVERSEartLA, curated by Caichiolo, will return, exploring the role of biennials and museums in fostering innovation and dialogue. London’s Pontone Gallery will showcase the surreal oil paintings of Chris Rivers, a self-taught artist and former professional rock drummer.
Works by Kathleen Ryan, including “Wild Heart,” “Heartthrob,” and “Heartbreaker,” will also be on display.
The American Heart Association is the designated charity for the LA Art Show, with 15% of ticket proceeds benefiting their Life is Why campaign.
