• Weapon & Armor Level: Ensure your weapons and armor are upgraded to at least Level 5 before engaging.
• Shield: A Shield is mandatory. Even the default shield is sufficient, as the fight revolves around the parry mechanic.
• Abyss Cores: Socket Abyss Cores into your gear, prioritizing those offering health regeneration, Spirit regeneration, and damage reduction.
• Leather Helm of the Fallen Kingdom: If you possess it, equip the Leather Helm of the Fallen Kingdom for a +35% Turning Slash Damage bonus, which proves invaluable during stagger combos.

Decoding the Phases: A Step-by-Step Guide

Phase 1: Mastering the Parry Window

Phase 1 serves as a tutorial for the rest of the fight, focusing on the parry mechanic. Crowcaller’s main attacks in this phase are designed to teach you his timing. Conserve healing items; This represents the easiest phase, and you’ll need your supplies for later.

Phase 2: Explosive Crows and Aerial Assaults

Phase 2 increases the pace and introduces new challenges:

• Explosive Crows: Crowcaller fires explosive crows at range. Block incoming damage with L1 while he closes the distance.
• Aerial Dashes: His flight ability now includes dashing in the air, often twice in a row. Watch for the second dash before dodging.

Grapple becomes your most valuable tool for keeping him in place. Chain Grapple into Stagger buildup, then unleash a Turning Slash when he’s staggered for significant damage. The Blinding Flash Finisher is as well effective after a divebomb.

Phase 3: Aggression and Precision

Phase 3 sees Crowcaller at his most aggressive, adding these elements:

• Three-Dive Sequences: He can now perform up to three consecutive dive bombs. He briefly enters an invulnerable state before each dive.
• Grab Attack: He can grab and hold you momentarily.
• Increased Combo Frequency: His melee combo frequency increases significantly.

The core strategy remains consistent: Block his melee combos (they have low Stamina cost), then use successful blocks to Grapple and rebuild his Stagger bar. Parry windows, Blinding Flash, and Grapple remain essential.

After sufficient Stagger buildup, deliver a Turning Slash for maximum damage. Repeat until victory.

• Tauria Curved Sword

You also unlock the Aerial Roll skill. Alternatively, you can obtain it mid-fight using the Watch and Learn mechanic: keep the camera focused on him when he performs the move and hold the Interact button.

Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) is well-known for increasing frame rates through upscaling and frame generation. During a demo at Nvidia’s GTC event, the technology wowed observers. Rocks, stones, trees, water, and even everyday objects like espresso machines appeared more photorealistic. In a demo of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, characters modeled two decades ago were transformed, exhibiting fully fleshed-out faces with realistic hair, skin, and eyes. The effect unlocked a new level of immersion.

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, DLSS 5 enhanced the lush forests, adding variety to the light and texture of foliage, and rocks. The experience didn’t feel artificial, and the technology appeared to preserve the original game models while enhancing them.

The Power Equation: What Will It Take to Run DLSS 5?

Currently, DLSS 5 remains a work-in-progress. Nvidia demoed the technology using two GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards. The goal is to optimize DLSS 5 for single-GPU operation, but significant tweaks are needed. Nvidia plans to launch the technology this fall, though the initial rollout may be limited.

Ambivalence and Trust: Concerns About Authenticity

Despite the growing reliance on AI for relationship advice, a degree of ambivalence persists. 61% of respondents find it unsettling to interact with someone who is communicating with the aid of AI. Four in ten individuals believe they can detect when an AI has assisted in crafting a response, raising questions about authenticity and transparency.

However, AI is seen as helpful in improving communication during conflicts by nearly a quarter of respondents.

Emotional Connection and the Potential for Replacement

The lines between human and artificial connection are becoming increasingly blurred. Approximately a quarter of AI users sometimes perceive these applications as a “digital companion.” This sentiment is even stronger among those under 30, with a third reporting such feelings.

A concerning, though still minority, perspective is emerging: 11% of respondents have experienced emotional attachment to AI. More notably, over one in ten men (11%) contemplate the possibility of AI replacing real love, a sentiment shared by 23% when considering a KI avatar as a partner, compared to 13% of women.

A Risk or an Opportunity? Perceptions of AI’s Impact

The majority (65%) view AI as a potential risk to relationships and friendships, while 22% see it as an opportunity. A significant 54% believe that AI will fundamentally alter human relationships within the next decade.

Women (77%) and men (69%) largely share a critical view of AI’s increasing intrusion into love lives. However, 26% of men express curiosity about the future evolution of romantic relationships with AI, compared to 17% of women.
