Crash At Busy Waldorf Intersection Sends Woman To Hospital, Toddler Evaluated

WALDORF, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a crash Monday afternoon, March 9, 2026, at the intersection of Crain Highway and Billingsley Road that left three people injured, including a toddler.

The incident, reported at approximately 12:54 p.m., involved fire and EMS units responding to multiple patients following a vehicle collision. A 69-year-old woman was transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with lower abdominal and back pain. A 21-year-old woman with back pain and a 2-year-old boy were evaluated at the scene.

This crash occurred shortly after another multi-vehicle collision along Crain Highway near Gillespie Circle, where individuals were trapped and required extrication by firefighters.
