Hazel Greene (nee Stanley) of Coolroe, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Fallowbeg, Timahoe, Co. Laois, passed away peacefully at home on February 7th, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
A Life Remembered
Ms. Greene was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Ann, her brother David, and her daughter Sandra. She is survived by her husband, Tommy, and her children Gary, Stuart, Stephen, Alison, Clive, Roy, Damien and Jason.
She is similarly survived by her brother Leslie, and her sisters Olive, Mabel and Joan. Her family also includes daughters-in-law Mary, Elaine, Caitrin, Niamh and Laura, and grandchildren Tom, Dara, Thadí, Oisín, Ross, Lily, Isla and Anna, as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing will capture place at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Roscrea E53 RX08 on Monday, February 9th, from 4pm to 7pm. A funeral service will be held at St Cronan’s Church of Ireland Church on Tuesday at 1pm, followed by burial in Dungar Cemetery.
