Margaret Lohan, of Portumna, Galway, passed away peacefully on February 22nd, following a long illness. She was surrounded by family at Galway University Hospital and had fought her illness with dignity and courage.

Margaret was a devoted mother to Sinéad, Fiona, Ruth, Sarah, and Seán, and the loving wife of Padraig. She is as well remembered by her sisters Denise, Joanne, Fiona, and Maura, as well as her mother-in-law, Ann Lohan, and a wide circle of extended family, teaching colleagues, neighbors, and friends.
