Teresa Cregg (née Stephenson) passed away on March 12th, 2026, in Dublin, surrounded by her family and under the care of St James’s Hospital. She was formerly of Boyle, Co. Roscommon and Aughrim, Co. Galway.
A Life Remembered
Ms. Cregg was predeceased by her husband, Micheál, and her parents, John and Jane Stephenson. She is survived by her five children: Marie, Gerard, Damian, Enda, and Elaine, as well as her sons-in-law Liam and José, daughters-in-law Bláithín and Eileen, and nine grandchildren: Paul, Grace, Dáire, Óisín, Caoimhe, Conán, Aoibhín, Cian and Róisín.
Reposing will be held at McElroy’s Funeral Home, 14 Saint Agnes’ Road, Crumlin Village, (D12 EC60) on Friday, March 13th, from 4pm to 5.30pm. Following this, her remains will be removed to St Agnes’ Parish Church, Crumlin, arriving at 6pm.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th, at 10am in St. Agnes’ Parish Church. Burial will follow at Aged Killaraght Cemetery in Boyle, Co. Roscommon, at approximately 3.45pm.
For those unable to attend the services in Dublin, an opportunity to express condolences to the family will be available after the burial in Killaraght Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will also be streamed live on Saturday, accessible via this link.
