Deniz Ofli recently played for both Bayern Munich’s A team and in the Champions League against Atalanta, drawing attention in Turkey. He entered the game in the 54th minute and impressed observers.
The player’s surname sparked discussion on social media, with questions arising about whether Deniz Ofli has ties to Trabzonspor. It was previously reported that while Deniz Ofli is originally from Artvin, some relatives are from Trabzon. His level of support for Trabzonspor remains unconfirmed.
According to reports, Fenerbahçe inquired about a potential transfer for Deniz Ofli, but his family reportedly responded, “We are staunch Trabzonspor supporters, so we will not consider this offer.”
While a connection between Deniz Ofli and Trabzon is established, the veracity of this report is yet to be confirmed. The young player, who developed within the Bayern Munich academy, is considered a promising talent. He was also in the squad for Bayern Munich’s recent league match against Union Berlin.
