Donanımhaber: GTA 6 DLSS 5 Test Boosts Trailer to 90 FPS

GTA 6 Performance Testing with AI Frame Generation

Grand Theft Auto 6 is not yet available on PC, but early performance testing using AI-assisted technology offers a glimpse into how the game might handle high-frame-rate environments. A user recently processed existing trailer footage through Nvidia DLSS 5 and frame generation tools, DonanımHaber reported. By utilizing a system equipped with an RTX 4080 graphics card, the experiment successfully boosted a 30 FPS source video to 90 FPS. The tester utilized Veyra 2.1.1, a tool capable of applying real-time AI-based image processing, upscaling, and frame generation from sources like video files, capture cards, and Remote Play. The user integrated the MFG Unlock tool to enable Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) on RTX 40 series cards, testing both 3x and 4x frame generation options.

The test relied on the “Extended Look” trailer for GTA 6, applying AI-driven image processing to simulate potential future PC performance. While the frame rate increase was significant, the method resulted in noticeable visual artifacts.

Sensor Tower Reports Strong Consumer Demand Before Launch

Consumer demand for the title has been great ahead of the November launch. Analysis firm Sensor Tower reported that GTA 6 generated significant revenue through early November, with millions of units sold via pre-orders as of November 3. These sales have brought in substantial revenue. The data indicates that the PlayStation 5 platform accounts for the majority of these initial sales, while Xbox consoles represent a smaller portion.
