Cornelia Kack clinched the match for the Phoenix, downing Ela Platenikova 7-5, 6-3 on Court 1. This victory was Kack’s second at the No. 1 singles position this season and her sixth consecutive win overall.
Lisa Kranec completed the impressive singles performance with a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 (1) win on Court 5, battling back from an early deficit in the first set.
Doubles Point Struggle, But Team Resilience Shines
The Huskies secured the doubles point with wins on Courts 1 and 2. Still, Cornelia Kack and Lisa Kranec provided a bright spot, earning a decisive 6-0 victory on Court 3, continuing their strong partnership with their sixth straight win and ninth of the spring.
