Bulgarian Tourism Minister Hints at Staying Put Amidst Cabinet Changes

In a recent interview with BTV, Bulgarian Tourism Minister Evtim Miloshev shared his thoughts on the current political landscape and his plans for the ski season. The minister, who is part of the interim cabinet led by Prime Minister Dimitar, expressed his hope for a regular cabinet to be formed soon, stating, "I hope we have a regular cabinet so I can go skiing."

When asked about his ski plans by host Evgenia Marcheva, Miloshev said, "I plan to be in Bulgaria. I might even squeeze in a trip to the Alps." The minister also revealed that he had not been to the beach this summer due to his ministerial duties.

Regarding the tourism sector, Miloshev stressed the importance of protecting the environment, saying, "Tourism preserves the environment. To invest and develop it, you must protect the natural resources." He also lamented the lack of a second cable lift in Bansko, a popular ski resort, stating that international tourists are often puzzled by this oversight.

However, the minister avoided committing to a specific cabinet, whether interim or regular, when asked directly by the host.
