FAPASA Joins CIDeS: A New Era of Collaboration for Argentina’s Insurance Sector
The Centro de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo del Seguro (CIDeS) has approved the incorporation of the Federación de Asociaciones de Productores Asesores de Seguros de la Argentina (FAPASA) as an adhering member. This move strengthens the connection between insurance companies and insurance advisors across Argentina.
Strengthening the Ecosystem: What This Partnership Means
FAPASA joins existing adhering members including the Asociación Argentina de Compañías de Seguros (AACS), Aseguradores del Interior de la República Argentina (ADIRA), the Asociación Argentina de Cooperativas y Mutualidades de Seguros (AACMS), the Unión de Aseguradoras de Riesgos del Trabajo (UART), the Asociación de Aseguradores de Vida y Retiro de la Argentina (AVIRA), and the Cámara Insurtech Argentina.
This new channel of dialogue between CIDeS – a think tank comprised of executives from leading insurance companies – and FAPASA, representing 22 Associations of Insurance Advisors nationwide, is poised to foster growth within the sector.
FAPASA’s Vision for Collaborative Growth
Agustina Decarre, President of FAPASA, emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership. “We believe that linking up to work together for the growth of the insurance sector today is strategic,” she stated.
Decarre highlighted the potential for building shared agendas in a market undergoing technological, regulatory, and economic transformations. She believes a holistic approach to insurance development is crucial.
“Joint work between institutions is fundamental to strengthening the insurance ecosystem. Companies, Insurance Advisors, regulators, and strategic thinking spaces need to interact more than ever to drive solutions that expand coverage and improve the quality of service to the insured,” Decarre explained.
Bringing a Federal Perspective to the Table
FAPASA’s presence within CIDeS aims to contribute the federal and territorial vision of Insurance Advisors, key players in insurance intermediation and professional advice throughout the country.
CIDeS: A Hub for Insurance Innovation
CIDeS was established as a strategic analysis hub for the insurance market. Its goal is to generate ideas and proposals that drive sector development, promoting collaborative work to identify trends, emerging risks, and growth opportunities.
The organization brings together executives from the country’s leading insurance companies and serves as a space for reflection on the structural challenges of the industry, from technological innovation to the evolution of the regulatory framework.
CIDeS also promotes debate and networking initiatives, such as the Insurance Week (Insurance Week website), a regional event that brings together executives, regulators, and specialists to analyze major issues affecting the insurance industry in Latin America and the world.
