Finn Balor returned as The Demon on the October 30, 2026, episode of WWE SmackDown in Charleston. He saved Danhausen from an attack by Gunther and ended the segment with a Coup de Grace through the announce desk.
Danhausen Unveils a Lab Sheet
The Halloween broadcast opened with Danhausen hosting the show. He had spent months teasing a secret experiment hidden under a sheet in his laboratory. Gunther ambushed him before he could remove the cover on October 30, powerbombing him through a table on the entrance ramp.
Gunther dragged Danhausen back into the ring for more punishment. When Danhausen activated a cloning machine to produce an army of miniature versions of himself known as Minihausens, the Ring General quickly overwhelmed them.

Gunther threw pumpkins and powerbombed one Minihausen through a table.
The Demon Answers Gunther’s Attack
Gunther locked Danhausen in a sleeper hold in the center of the ring after neutralizing the Minihausens. Danhausen issued a warning to his attacker just as he appeared close to passing out.

The arena lights went out and turned red. A heartbeat played across the venue audio, and The Demon Finn Balor arose from beneath the laboratory sheet.
Balor faced a fearful Gunther. Gunther tried to strike back by whipping Balor with his championship belt, but the blow did nothing to the returning alter-ego.
Balor Smashes the Announce Desk
Balor ducked a clothesline and started a series of strikes. He connected with Sling Blades and a dropkick that sent Gunther crashing through a ringside table.
The brawl moved into the open. Balor pulled a ladder from beneath the ring.

Balor placed Gunther on top of the announcer’s desk, climbed the ladder, and delivered a violent Coup de Grace that smashed the desk to pieces. Danhausen joined Balor in the ring to strike a pose as the broadcast ended.
Crown Jewel Match Teased in Riyadh
The surprise appearance points toward a match between Balor and Gunther. Local promotional posters spotted by fans at Riyadh Season Stadium feature both wrestlers for the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event set for Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Gunther previously targeted Balor on the October 9 episode of SmackDown, attacking him before a scheduled match could start. WWE has not officially confirmed the bout on its card yet. The promotion has a tight deadline to make the match official before the final weekly show on November 6.
