Fox Entertainment has appointed Billy Parks to lead its Fox Creator Studios division. The new division will focus on collaborating with emerging creators across a range of programming categories.
New Leadership for Fox Creator Studios
Parks brings extensive experience in creator-driven media, having previously held positions at Otter Media, Fullscreen, and Astronauts Wanted. Most recently, he served as an operating partner at The Chernin Group and a venture partner at Gradual Ventures Creator Fund.
According to Rob Wade, CEO of Fox Entertainment, Fox Creator Studios aims to “bridge the gap between Hollywood and the rapidly expanding creator economy.” Wade stated that Parks’ expertise in scaling creator ideas into enduring businesses makes him well-suited to lead the division.
Parks echoed this sentiment, stating that Fox Creator Studios intends to “meet creators where they are, respect what they’ve already built and help them grow.” He envisions the studio as a place that supports creators in launching new formats, expanding into new areas, and scaling their brands.
While initial partnerships are focused on the food category, Parks is expected to broaden the studio’s scope into other areas.
