He was predeceased by his father, Bernard, and his mother, Alice. Mr. Currid is survived by his wife, Eileen, and his brothers John, Brian, and Patrick. He is also remembered by his aunt, Peggy, and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Reposing will take place at McGowan’s Crematorium and Funeral Home on Friday, February 13th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Theresa’s Church, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo, on Saturday, February 14th, at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass, Co. Sligo.
