The Role and Its Responsibilities
The Head of External Relations will lead Grow Asia’s strategic communications, donor engagement, partner relationships, and high-level events. This senior leadership role requires strategic judgment and relationship-building skills. Key responsibilities include leading external communications, overseeing major events, and building relationships with public institutions, multilateral organizations, philanthropic bodies, and private sector partners.
The role also involves leading regional partnership and donor engagement strategies, overseeing engagement with advisory councils and country chapters, and providing strategic direction to a small regional team.

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience in partnerships, external affairs, communications, or stakeholder engagement within international development or a related field. A proven ability to engage with public sector and philanthropic donors, particularly in Southeast Asia, is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, with regional languages considered a plus.
