Police responded to 194 Washington Street at approximately 6:58 p.m. After receiving a report of an unconscious and unresponsive female. Officers encountered a man, later identified as Ottahu Holder, who initially refused to cooperate and blocked their entry into the apartment.
After gaining access, officers discovered Linda Anthony suffering from severe head trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions assumed control of the investigation.
