Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Lee Curtis Parody You Can See Everything

Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Lee Curtis delivered a parody of the documentary You Can See Everything during The Tonight Show cold open on Wednesday, reenacting awkward interview exchanges featuring Nathan Fielder and Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes.

The late-night segment opened with host Jimmy Fallon channeling co-director Nathan Fielder while guest Jamie Lee Curtis stepped into the role of Elizabeth Holmes, complete with a blonde wig and intense eye contact. The 90-second sketch borrowed its premise directly from a conversation in the film that also served as the centerpiece of its teaser trailer.

Reenacting the Viral Fielder and Holmes Trailer

Dressed to mimic the awkward cadence of the documentary, Fallon grilled Curtis with questions about her intentions on the late-night program. The exchange recreated the long pauses and unblinking stares that have fueled memes across social media. Just like the documentary, there was a lot of long pauses and intense staring, matching the dynamic between Fielder and Holmes, who lived together during the month leading up to her going to prison.

Now, be honest. Do you really want to be on the show tonight?

Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show

Curtis, maintaining a stiff facade reminiscent of Holmes during her legal proceedings, gave a slow and calculated response before looking deep into the host’s eyes. When pressed on whether she was merely promoting a project, she insisted her appearance was entirely authentic.

No, I’m engaging with you as a human being. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that. There’s nothing for me to deceive you on.

She then flashed her eyes in a manner reminiscent of Gloria Swanson’s Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. When Fallon concluded the chat with a “good chat” and asked if she was being real, Curtis responded that she was always being real.

Box Office Momentum for A24’s You Can See Everything

The late-night spoof arrives as the real documentary continues to draw massive audiences in theaters. Kate McKinnon previously brought her own Elizabeth Holmes impression to Late Night with Seth Meyers a month prior, reenacting some of the same trailer lines mid-interview.

The slow-burn release has become a major commercial success for A24, grossing $19.5 million over its opening weekend alone. The film has earned $45.1 million overall domestically, making it the highest-grossing documentary at the domestic box office in 15 years.

Promoting Newlyweds on NBC

Beyond the viral cold open, Curtis appeared on the program to promote her new NBC sitcom, Newlyweds, which premiered on Oct. 23, 2026. The series follows a later-in-life romance between characters played by Téa Leoni and Tim Daly, describing a free-spirited woman and a buttoned-up professor who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship. Curtis stars in a recurring guest role and co-created the series alongside Gail Lerner, who was fired earlier that month due to creative differences after describing the experience as the most joyous TV experience of her life.
