TWICE and 2PM Members Detail Exhausting Schedules
During year-end broadcast marathons, 2PM member Junho did not lie down on a bed for approximately 12 days, according to a video posted on October 1st on the YouTube channel Ch117 titled “Fox’s Devil, Senior Junho Appears.” TWICE member Sana also appeared in the video and stated that her group spent three days without washing or fully removing their stage makeup due to back-to-back performances and travel.
Twelve Days Without a Bed During Year-End Broadcasts
Junho explained that the grueling schedule centered around three major programs: Gayo Daechukje, Gayo Daejeon, and Gayo Daejejeon, which took place on December 29th, 30th, and 31st. After finishing the stage on the 29th, the group immediately transitioned into preparation for the following day. Rehearsals lasted all night, leading directly into early morning rehearsals and live broadcasts.
The cycle required constant movement between practice rooms, commercial shoots, and public broadcast locations by car. Junho recalled that sleep occurred in the car. At one point, the members heard a song playing at a rest area and realized it was their own track hitting number one, despite having no memory of recording it due to extreme exhaustion.
Unwashed Stage Makeup
Sana shared a comparable experience regarding TWICE’s promotional cycles, telling Junho that her group went three days without washing or fully removing their makeup. She explained that members only took off the base makeup before returning to the stage and boarded airplanes in their stage outfits immediately following music shows.
Junho corroborated the conditions, noting that 2PM faced similar constraints. He stated that the groups remained in sweaty clothes because time simply did not permit proper hygiene breaks during peak broadcasting seasons.
