The LA Freeway Circuit is launching its 2026 season with a Pasadena debut on Saturday, March 21. The StageCrafts will present four independent theatrical productions at Parson’s Nose Theater in a one-day festival celebrating adventurous live theatre.

What is the LA Freeway Circuit?

The LA Freeway Circuit aims to bring standout Hollywood theatre productions to communities beyond city limits. The Pasadena event marks the first stop on a year-long journey across Greater Los Angeles.

Did You Know? Parson’s Nose Theater is located at 95 N Marengo Ave. In Pasadena.

According to Jenn Crafts, a co-founder of the circuit, Parson’s Nose Theater was chosen as the first venue because of its established history and loyal audience. Crafts believes the partnership will allow The StageCrafts to introduce something “modern, exciting, and very different” to the theater’s patrons.

Expert Insight: By extending the reach of Hollywood productions, the LA Freeway Circuit could foster greater access to live theatre for audiences outside of Los Angeles’ traditional theatre districts. This model of decentralized performance may prove valuable for smaller theatre companies seeking to expand their audiences and build new partnerships.

Gregory Crafts, also a co-founder of the circuit, stated that the 2026 season will be “bigger and better than before,” with new shows and partnerships throughout the Southland.

Following Pasadena, the circuit is scheduled to visit Ophelia’s Jump Productions in Upland in May, The Electric Lodge in Venice in July, Theatre 68 Performing Arts Complex in North Hollywood in September, and Outside In Theater in Highland Park in November. Each location will feature between four and six productions in a single day.
