Matchoi Djaló Secures Victory for Nacional
Se isto acontecesse a Benfica, FC Porto e Sporting…
, protestou Luís Silva, capitão do Académico de Viseu, após a partida.
CD Nacional defeated Académico de Viseu 1-0 on Sunday at Estádio da Madeira, in a match of the 11th round of the I Liga, climbing provisionally to 14th place in the table, dnoticias.pt reported.
Weather Delays and Referee Changes
Heavy fog initially postponed the 11th-round fixture from its original schedule, with the fog finally giving a truce in Choupana on Sunday. VAR Bruno Esteves and AVAR Pedro Sancho were replaced by Hélder Malheiro and Rui Cidade.

Académico de Viseu captain Luís Silva voiced sharp criticism over the handling of the postponement in his flash interview with Sport TV, as covered by A Bola. He argued that smaller clubs face disadvantages when matches on the island are rescheduled, noting the personal strain on players and families.
Nacional controls possession amid missed scoring opportunities
Both teams struggled with finishing during a tightly contested first half, with 52 percent of possession for Nacional, nineteen shots to nine, and six shots on target to five. Nacional responded right before halftime through Song Min-kyu, whose attempt at the 43rd minute drew a strong save from Ewerton, maintaining the scoreless draw until the break.
Manager João Henriques turned to his bench in the second half to break the deadlock after Gavriel was replaced by Daniel straight away at the 46th minute, while Nacional continued with the same recipe and braking as Baeza was blocked at the 49th minute by Luís Silva, Baeza shot wide at the 50th minute, and Daniel missed wide at the 69th minute. Académico de Viseu accumulated five yellow cards handed to João Guilherme at the 50th minute, Robinho at the 68th minute, and Anthony Correia at the 78th minute. Nikolaos Michelis earned the highest rating for the visitors at 7.6, cutting out a shot from Danel Dongmo at the 77th minute in a pattern repeated all afternoon, while Renato Marin closed the game with an 8.1 rating—the highest of all—handling headers from Kahraman and André Clóvis, the latter testing him one last time at the 90th minute. Matchoi Djaló entered the match at the 69th minute—replacing Baeza—and connected with a pass from fellow substitute Pablo Ruan, who had replaced Song at the 79th minute, to net the winner near the end of regulation.
