MEA Updates Riyadh to Beirut Flight Procedures

Travelers flying from Riyadh to Beirut face new mandatory airport procedures following a direct request from Saudi authorities at Riyadh airport, according to operational updates issued by Middle East Airlines.

New Airport Drop-Off And Check-In Rules In Riyadh

Passengers departing on Middle East Airlines flights from Riyadh to Beirut must arrive at the airport four hours before their scheduled departure time. Under the updated directives, vehicles are strictly prohibited from dropping off passengers or luggage on the roadway adjacent to the terminal halls. Instead, all travelers and baggage must be offloaded at Parking Level -2.

Once outside vehicles, passengers must carry their luggage directly to the designated check-in area located on Level 0 of the main terminal. After completing baggage drop and check-in procedures, travelers are instructed to proceed downstairs to Parking Level -1 to wait until their aircraft is fully prepared for boarding. Security and customs personnel will then call passengers in controlled batches of 30 individuals to complete final security checks before boarding dedicated buses to the aircraft. Middle East Airlines staff will remain stationed throughout the terminal to guide passengers through each step of the journey.
