MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph’s men’s tennis team suffered a 4-0 defeat against the #70 ranked Old Dominion Monarchs on Thursday.
Doubles Battle, Singles Fight
The Hawks put up a strong fight, particularly in doubles play. Damir Abdusamadov and Santiago Valle were locked in a tight contest at the top flight, reaching a 6-6 tiebreaker before the match was left unfinished. Old Dominion ultimately secured the doubles point by winning the second and third doubles matches.
