Details of the Incident
The 32-year-ancient Ramilo was shot while in her vehicle in front of her home in Barangay Cabaritan, San Manuel, Isabela, at approximately 6:45 pm. She sustained gunshot wounds to her face and body. Her children were reportedly with her in the car at the time and were unharmed.
As of Saturday, February 14, the identity of the suspect remained unknown.
Family’s Response
Ramilo’s partner, Clifford dela Cruz, a doctor, was attending training in Manila when the shooting occurred. He immediately returned to Isabela after being informed by his mother-in-law. Dela Cruz described Ramilo as a devoted mother, wife and daughter.
