Wizards of the Coast announced the upcoming Secret Lair Corn Maze Superdrop on X, scheduling the Halloween-themed release for October 12, 2026. The new collection brings major entertainment properties to the tabletop game, featuring collaborations with KPop Demon Hunters, Marvel, and The Jim Henson Company/Labyrinth Enterprises, according to legal disclaimers on the promotional posts.
What Properties Are Included in the Corn Maze Superdrop?
The Corn Maze Superdrop includes multiple distinct sets spanning pop culture and dark fantasy. The lineup features Secret Lair x KPop Demon Hunters, three separate Jim Henson’s Labyrinth collections, and a Marvel Zombies release. The Labyrinth collections anchor the Halloween release. One set, titled Fear Me, Love Me, focuses on Goblin kindred cards and stars Muxus, Goblin Grandee posing as Jareth, Goblin King alongside a copy of Claim the Firstborn as The Kidnapping of Toby. Another Labyrinth collection titled Should You Need Us features characters like Ludo, Hoggle, and Sarah, Champion to the Lost, whose art connects directly with Jareth to form a unified scene across two cards.
Pricing and Purchase Details for October 12
Each set in the Corn Maze Superdrop goes on sale starting at 9 am PDT on October 12, 2026. Products will be available in both Traditional Foil Edition priced at $40 and Non-Foil Edition priced at $30 while supplies last. Wizards of the Coast also offers a Labyrinth-flavored copy of Maze of Ith as a promotional bonus on any order exceeding $199.
Card Mechanics and Speculation on New Printings
Draftsim analysis suggests that the Corn Maze Superdrop will likely lean heavily toward reprints and reskins rather than mechanically unique cards, following the template of last year’s Secret Scare Superdrop. That previous Halloween release featured only one unique card, Jaws, Relentless Predator, which drew criticism from players due to scarce availability and high secondary market prices. By contrast, the Corn Maze sets utilize existing powerful cards, such as Freed From the Real and Underworld Breach in the KPop Demon Hunters drop, and Leveler in the Labyrinth Through the Labyrinth set.
