Mumford & Sons are embarking on a substantial 2026 North American tour following the release of their new album, Prizefighter, today, February 20, through Glassnote. The tour will include performances at iconic stadiums such as Wrigley Field in Chicago on June 11 and Fenway Park in Boston on June 22.
The tour begins June 2 in Vancouver and will encompass arenas, amphitheaters, and festival appearances, including Hinterland in St. Charles, Iowa on August 1 and Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky on September 25. A variety of artists will join the band as openers, including CAAMP, Lord Huron, Sierra Ferrell, Marcus King Band, Dylan Gossett, and Medium Build. Tickets go on sale to the general public on February 27.
Prizefighter features guest appearances by Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton, and Gigi Perez. A music video for “The Banjo Song” was also released today, showcasing dancers from events hosted by Streets of Soul in Bristol, U.K.
According to an Instagram post from Aaron Dessner, the collaboration on Prizefighter began after a chance encounter with the band at Electric Lady studios in New York in May 2024. Dessner described the process as a natural one, stating, “It felt like I got to join their band for a year and the songs came quickly and fearlessly.” He also noted the emotional resonance of the song “Conversation with My Son,” and his contribution of an acoustic guitar solo inspired by Jerry Garcia.
Mumford & Sons also have international performances scheduled, including a July 4 show at BTS Hyde Park in London and a September 12 appearance at Rock in Rio in Brazil.
