Naples Teen Arrested with Weapon and Drug Paraphernalia at Beacon High School

A Naples teen, identified as Alexander Herreria, 18, was arrested after school staff discovered a box cutter and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle at Beacon High School on March 21, 2026, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

School personnel alerted authorities when Herreria was found parked in the school lot during school hours, rather than attending classes. An administrative search of both Herreria and his car led to the discovery of the items.

Details of the Arrest

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reported that a box cutter was found in Herreria’s car, classifying it as a weapon on school grounds. A grinder containing flakes, a smoking bowl, and two plastic containers were discovered. The flakes reportedly tested positive for THC.

Herreria now faces charges of possession of a weapon on school property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
