The No. 10 California beach volleyball team completed a dominant weekend at the Battle of the Bay on Saturday, securing 5-0 victories over both USF and Pacific at the Clark Kerr Sand Courts.
Dominant Performances Across the Board
The Golden Bears did not drop a single set in either match. Seniors Mila Vugrincic and Jenna Colligan were particularly impressive, allowing their opponents 10 points or less in every set and a total of just 30 points across four sets played on Saturday.
Redshirt freshman Giselle Lau made her Cal debut, teaming with sophomore Elle Evers to defeat USF’s No. 5 pair 21-19, 21-11.
