Moraine Park Technical College Expands Educational Pathways with New Certificate Program
Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) is offering a new certificate program (Program Number: 61-106-7) available at the Fond du Lac, West Bend, and online campuses. This program is designed to provide students with foundational skills and a clear pathway to further education and career advancement.
Building Blocks for Office Management Careers
The new certificate’s courses are directly transferable into Moraine Park’s Office Management Associate of Applied Science degree. This allows students to seamlessly continue their education should they choose, building upon their initial certificate coursework.
Affordable and Accessible Higher Education
MPTC emphasizes the affordability, accessibility, and convenience of continuing education. Students who earn an associate degree at MPTC can then apply those credits toward a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university. MPTC maintains transfer agreements with institutions both within Wisconsin and across the country, providing students with a wide range of options.
More information on credit transfer agreements can be found on the Transfer to a Four-Year College page.
Streamlined Admissions and Prior Learning Recognition
The admissions process follows standard Admissions steps. MPTC as well recognizes the value of prior learning, offering opportunities to earn college credit for:
- Transfer credit from other colleges/universities
- Military training and experience
- Advanced Placement, CLEP, DANTES/DSST, or MPTC Challenge Exams
- Previous or current work and life experiences
