Río Grande to Host Free Veterinary Care Clinic for Pets
On Saturday, January 11, Río Grande’s municipality will be hosting a comprehensive veterinary care clinic for pets. The event will take place at the Centro de Desarrollo Comunitario, located at Rafaela Ishton 1148, from 10 am to 3 pm.
The clinic, organized by the Río Grande municipality through its Direction of Veterinary Services and Secretary of Citizen Management, will provide essential services for both canines and felines. These include:
- Parasite Control: To help protect pets from internal and external parasites.
- Rabies Vaccination: Crucial for pets aged 3 months and above, as it prevents the fatal disease.
- Microchipping: Ensuring pets can be easily identified and reunited with their owners if lost.
To ensure a smooth process, please follow these guidelines:
- Cats: Transport them in carrying cases (caniles) for their safety.
- Dogs: Bring them on a leash, with a collar, muzzle (bozal), and their vet records (libreta sanitaria). Adult accompaniment is mandatory.
The care clinic follows the successful model of past events, offering free services on a first-come, first-served basis. The municipality encourages pet owners to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure their pets are healthy and protected.
