On June 26, 2025, a fire broke out in a nine-story building in the Blosne district of Rennes. Nine months later, Mohamed Jally and her three children are still unable to return to their apartment and are living in precarious conditions.
Recalling the night of Thursday, June 26, 2025, Mohamed Jally becomes emotional. Shortly after midnight, she was awakened by heat and a smell of gas. After opening the window of her bedroom, she went to the entrance of her apartment on Place de Galicie, in the Rennes district of Blosne. She then saw flames coming from the hallway.
