Breaking News: Severe Crash in Blagoevgrad Leaves Three Injured

In a dramatic incident on Wednesday afternoon, a specialized vehicle caused a catastrophic crash on the road between the villages of Banitchan and Borovo in Blagoevgrad. The collision resulted in three individuals sustaining injuries. The regional directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Blagoevgrad confirmed the incident.

The 73-year-old driver from Satovcha, who was at the wheel of the specialized vehicle, attempted to overtake and encroached into the lane for oncoming traffic. The collision occurred when the oncoming bus, traveling from Goce Delchev with a 21-year-old behind the wheel, crashed into the vehicle. The car then veered off the road and overturned.

Three Injured While Traveling on the Bus

All three victims were traveling on the bus. The driver suffered a dislocated hip and contusions to his chest and head. A 51-year-old woman sustained a concussion, as well as fractures to her shoulder blade and ribs. A 47-year-old man also suffered a concussion, along with a fracture to his arm. Both drivers were tested for alcohol and drugs, with the alcohol tests returning negative. The driver of the car was also cleared of any influence of banned substances.
