In Bizarre Stunt, Driver Rams Into Train Safety Boom, Escapes Scratch-Free
In a bizarre turn of events, a wild car ride in Biezenmortel, Tilburg, ended with a car recklessly crashing into a train safety boom at high speed. Dodging the oncoming train by a whisker, the car came to an abrupt halt against the warning light. Surprisingly, the driver made a run for it, leaving behind a scenes of chaos at the railway crossing.
The local police force, alerted by the incident, swiftly mobilized to trace the fleeing driver. After a futile search, they were left dumbfounded when the driver casually returned to the scene. According to the police spokesperson, the driver will be questioned about the exact sequence of events.
The mishap caused significant disruptions in the train schedule. A hundred passenger train had to halt for around 90 minutes, backing up other crossings along the line. Now, normalcy has been restored, and trains are back on their regular timetables.
