Sudbury residents will once again have access to landfill and recycling facilities as the city continues its recovery from a significant snowfall event. Commercial haulers can resume operations on March 23, with residential access following on March 26.
Landfill Reopening and Waste Collection Updates
The Sudbury, Azilda, and Hanmer landfill sites, along with the Recycling Centre, were closed following a major snowstorm on March 16. Regular tipping and gate fees will be in effect upon reopening.
