The TETRA and Critical Communications Association (TCCA) has outlined a busy first half of 2026, scheduling a series of conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and summits for critical communications professionals across the globe. The program highlights the sector’s expansion and the increasing integration of mission-critical communications with technologies like 5G, artificial intelligence, and smart mobility.
ICCA Awards: Entry Deadline Approaching
The TCCA is reminding organizations and individuals in the critical communications field that the deadline to submit entries for the International Critical Communications Awards (ICCAs) is February 27, 2026. These awards recognize achievements in products, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the field. Winners will be announced on June 16, 2026, in London, during the Critical Communications World event. Submissions are being accepted at www.critical-communications-world.com/iccas.
Key Events Scheduled
Several key events are planned throughout the spring and summer of 2026. On March 4, 2026, TCCA Board vice-chair Tero Pesonen will participate in the Global 5G Alliances Summit in Barcelona, while TCCA CEO Kevin Graham will join the GSMA Smart Mobility Summit. IWCE 2026 will be held in Las Vegas from March 16–19, 2026, with Kevin Graham representing the TCCA at the International Public Safety Panel Roundtable.
The BAPCO Annual Event will take place March 25–26, 2026, in Coventry, UK, offering a free event for emergency services, government, and industry professionals. Tero Pesonen will present on 6G at this event. From April 15–17, 2026, the EENA Conference and Exhibition will be held in Riga, Latvia, drawing over 100 experts from 50 countries.
TCCA is also launching a new regional event, Critical Communications Asia (CC Asia), in Hong Kong on April 22–23, 2026. A workshop co-hosted by TCCA and the Global Certification Forum (GCF) will follow on April 24, 2026, at the same location. Further events are planned for Wellington, New Zealand (May 27–28, 2026) and London, UK (June 16–18, 2026) with Critical Communications World. A “Save the Date” announcement has been made for Critical Communications India, to be held September 2–3, 2026, in New Delhi.
In addition to the events program, the TCCA highlights the Critical Communications Institute, developed in partnership with Wray Castle, which offers training in TETRA, LTE, 5G, and Mission Critical Broadband technologies.
