Developers Rebuild Visuals And Modernize Controls From Scratch

The remake moves far beyond simple emulation, rebuilding the 1998 Nintendo 64 title from the ground up with reimplemented visuals, modernized gameplay, fully voiced cutscenes, and orchestral music. Nintendo built a completely overhauled Hyrule featuring modernized movement controls, with Link now able to jump and dash freely.

It’s thanks to these young people, by thinking about how to adapt the game in the best possible way, how to make it fun once you have the controls in your hands, that this remake came into being.
