Los Angeles continues its busy weekend event schedule as the city hosts a variety of World Cup fan festivities, major musical performances, and cultural exhibitions through Sunday, July 12. According to LAist, while the U.S. team has been eliminated from the World Cup, public screenings and events at Venice Beach and Whittier Narrows will continue to feature food, music, and large-screen broadcasts.
Weekend Music and Performance Schedule
The city’s music scene features a mix of veteran acts and contemporary artists across multiple venues. Friday’s lineup includes Bobby Brown at the Saban Theatre, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony at the Garden Amphitheatre, DRAM at the Blue Note, and Belmont at the Roxy. Additionally, Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore will perform at McCabe’s, while Adam Lambert is set to take the stage at the Bellwether.
Saturday and Sunday programming includes 5 Seconds of Summer with the Band CAMINO at the Forum, and Wolfmother at the Wiltern. Pershing Square Park will host the I Love Oldies fest, featuring the Chi-Lites, Heatwave, the Stylistics, and the Delphonics. Joji and Flying Lotus are scheduled for performances at the Intuit Dome and Blue Note, respectively, spanning through Sunday.
Sunday’s schedule includes Willie Nelson at the Pacific Amphitheatre, Wynonna Judd with Melissa Etheridge at Great Park Live, and bluegrass performer Molly Tuttle at the Majestic Ventura Theater. The Hollywood Bowl will host “Music of the Films of Wes Anderson” from Friday through Sunday, featuring a cast that includes Bill Murray, Beck, Juliette Lewis, Rufus Wainwright, Jackson Browne, and Jason Schwartzman.

The Music Center’s Mark Taper Forum hosts “MUSE/IQUE: Defiantly Joni” on July 11 and 12, a career-spanning production led by Artistic Director Rachael Worby.
