Expert Insight: A targeted homicide in a residential area can heighten community anxiety and prompt a rapid police response, especially when the victims are young adults. The focus on a specific vehicle suggests investigators have at least a partial description, which could accelerate identification of suspects if witnesses or camera owners come forward.

The EPS homicide section has taken over the case, with autopsies scheduled for Dec. 16 and Dec. 17. Anyone with information is asked to call 780‑423‑4567, text #377, or contact Crime Stoppers at 1‑800‑222‑8477 or online.
