Police officers were already waiting at the PKP railway station in Oława when the train arrived. Authorities spoke with the boy, confirmed the sequence of events, and immediately contacted his father to let him know his son was safe and healthy. Approximately 10 minutes later, the father arrived in Oława on a following train, and the boy was safely returned to his care.
