Man Arrested in California for Allegedly Decapitating One-Year-Old Son
A grim discovery led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man in California, with authorities alleging he severed the head of his one-year-old son. The conditions surrounding the toddler’s death have left the community in shock.
The Sacramento Police Department received reports of disturbances at a residence early Friday morning. Upon arrival, they found a woman outside the home, who claimed she and her mother had been assaulted by her 28-year-old husband. As they investigated, police discovered the man inside the house with their son.
Tragically, officers located the boy’s decapitated head in the bedroom, leading to the man’s arrest. According to authorities, the horrific act occurred after his wife and mother-in-law had left the residence.
The suspect remains in custody without bond and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday. It’s unclear at this time if he has been assigned a public defender. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have provided no further details at this point.
