UAE‘s Humanitarian Efforts in Gaza: ‘Knight of Hope 3‘ Operation Brings Aid and Comfort
The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian mission in the Gaza Strip as part of ‘Knight of Hope 3’, providing urgent aid and support to sector residents, assisting displaced families, and ensuring their basic needs are met.
Recent assistance included distributing winter clothing to 350 families at the Nakhil Al-Zaweida shelter. Additionally, winter clothing and food parcels were provided to individuals with special needs in the Dir Al-Balah displacement camps, and food parcels were distributed to all 302 displaced families in the Al-Mahatta camp.
‘Knight of Hope 3’ also supports the ‘Emad Al-Khair’ kitchen, providing daily food rations to displaced persons in 9 camps. Thanks to Emirati aid, ‘Emad Al-Khair’ continues to serve over 1,000 families daily in the camps.
The operation has strengthened its efforts to support community kitchens in the camps, providing essential supplies to ensure daily food aid reaches the displaced, alleviating their burden and mitigating famine in the sector.
In a humanitarian visit, ‘Knight of Hope 3’ joined children at the Latin Church in Dir in celebrating their Christmas, gifting them winter blankets to ease their hardships amidst challenging circumstances.
