Three-Car Collision near Varna: One Fatality and Five Injured
A severe traffic incident involving three vehicles occurred near Varna, just a kilometer past Goriça village. The Varna Police Department confirmed the accident, which occurred at 12:50 PM.
Initial information indicates that a light car entered the opposing lane, resulting in a collision with an oncoming vehicle and the car following it. The crash left one woman deceased and five others injured, who are being transported to Varna Hospital for medical attention.
Traffic is currently being diverted from Staro Oryahovo via Dolni Chiflik – Provadia – Aitos. The deceased woman, a 55-year-old resident of Shumen, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
