According to the American Society of Clinical Oncology, he currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Clinical Oncology and has established a strong record as a peer reviewer.
His clinical and research leadership spans the National Clinical Trials Network and the Duke Cancer Institute. He also serves as a member of the National Cancer Institute’s Thoracic Malignancy Steering Committee, focusing on thoracic malignancies such as non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, and mesothelioma.
Stinchcombe earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan and a hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
