Breaking News: Same Suspect Behind Two Armed Robberies at Nedre Strandgate Store
Authorities suspect the same individual is responsible for two consecutive armed robbery attempts at a store in Nedre Strandgate. No arrests have been made yet.
"The descriptions of the perpetrators in both incidents are remarkably similar," revealed Eivind Klokkersund, operations leader at Møre og Romsdal Police District, to NTB. "We’ve examined CCTV footage from the scene."
The suspect, described as approximately 180 cm tall, was masked with a grey balaclava covering his face during both attempts. He was seen wearing a light grey hoodie, dark grey joggers, black gloves, white socks, and black shoes.
The latest robbery attempt was reported just before 10 PM on Sunday. Police quickly responded, searching nearby areas and relevant locations.
Klokkersund confirmed that the suspect brandished a weapon while threatening the staff.Remarkably, no injuries were reported, and nothing appears to have been stolen.
