Ukraine Hints at Peace Talks with Russia, but on a "High Price" Condition
Ukraine’s officials are expressing their eagerness for a swift resolution to the ongoing conflict with Russia, but they insist that Moscow must pay a significant price first. Mikhail Podolyak, a top advisor to President Volodymyr Zelensky, has made it clear that meaningful discussions are unlikely until Russia faces substantial consequences.

Podolyak’s stance echoes Ukrainian sentiments, suggesting that negotiations will be held only when Russia feels sufficient pressure.
"Many talks have been held, but they are mere illusions. A negotiating process cannot begin until Russia pays a high enough price," Podolyak stated in an interview with BBC.
