Konare’s mayor, Stancho Stefanov, echoes the frustration, "We’ve covered the same ground hundreds of times. Our hope is that there’s a chance we might stumble upon something, some clue that could lead us to him. But it’s truly a mystery. There’s no trail, no sign. It’s very puzzling."
