Prime Minister Fitnesso’s Mysterious Whereabouts Unveiled: Found in Luxury Hanoi Hotel

Article:

In an unusual turn of events, Slovakia‘s Prime Minister Robert Fico has been missing for nearly two weeks, leaving officials tight-lipped about his whereabouts. The mystery has finally been resolved thanks to a sharp-eyed reader who discovered clues in one of the premier’s video posts.

The prime minister’s last confirmed location was Moscow on December 22. Since then, his office has provided no updates on his whereabouts or the trip. His social media videos, released sporadically, offered no hints about his location, with most shots featuring drawn curtains and no visible landmarks.

Speculation among coalition deputies suggested he might have spent the holidays in Dubai. However, a keen observer for the Slovakian online newspaper Dennik N shed light on the mystery.

Fico’s latest video, posted on January 2, in which he criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, held the clue. In the background, a luxurious hotel setting gave him away. The reader identified the location as Capella Hanoi, a five-star hotel in Vietnam’s capital.

Capella Hanoi, situated in the heart of the city, boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant. The suspected suite where Fico stayed spans 194 square meters and costs around €5,500 per night. While it’s unclear how many nights the prime minister spent there, his alleged stay supports the theory that he indeed spent the holidays in Hanoi.

Repeated attempts by the editorial team to reach Fico via phone calls to the hotel went unanswered, further fueling the intrigue. Dong Ae Shin, South Korea’s trade minister, and other high-profile guests have also stayed at the hotel, adding to its elite status.

Prior to this revelation, Fico had been under fire for suggesting to cut off energy supplies and reduce aid to Ukrainian refugees as a retaliation for Ukraine’s stop of Russian gas transit.
