Russian occupational forces have managed to breakthrough Ukrainian defenses on the Liman front, according to reports from veteran Ukrainian combatant Stanislav "Osman" Buyanov. The commander of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion "Aydar" shared the grim news via his Telegram channel, stating that Russian troops are advancing towards Kolodiazne from Ivanovka, with the situation on the ground deteriorating rapidly.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed heavy fighting on the Liman front, with Russian forces launching 13 assaults on Ukrainian positions in areas including Novosergiyivka, Naumenka, Pervomaiske, Cherneshchyna, Makiyivka, Zarechnoe, Terroni, and Ivanovka. Regrettably, one engagement remains ongoing at the time of this report.
Prior to this latest development, the Operational Strategic Group "Khortytsia" reported that Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their ground in the western parts of the city of Kurakhove and maintain control over the Kurakhivska Thermal Power Station. However, fierce clashes persist in the region.
