Flu Vaccination Campaign in County Sector”>Zacatecas Urges Residents to Complete Flu Vaccination
In a bid to safeguard public health and reinforce the wellness push for 2025, the Zacatecas government, led by Governor David Monreal Ávila, is encouraging residents to get vaccinated against influenza. The virus is more active during the winter season, making it crucial for citizens to protect themselves.
So far, 382,976 doses have been administered in the state, with a target to reach 513,664 by March 28, 2025. The vaccination campaign is primarily focused on vulnerable groups, including children under five, adults over 60, pregnant women, healthcare workers, and those with underlying health conditions.
Jorge Saucedo Hernández, director of the Zacatecas State Vaccination Center, reminded the public that while the vaccine doesn’t prevent infection, it does mitigate severe complications should one contract the virus.
Don’t miss your chance to protect yourself and your loved ones. Vaccination centers are open and ready to serve you.
