Bulgarian PM Petkov Assured by Seniors: Don’t Worry, Your Father and I Have Settled It
Bulgarian Prime Minister, Kiril Petkov, has received support and reassurances from senior figures in the face of ongoing investigations by the prosecution service. According to multiple sources, Petkov has been urged not to worry about the situation, with senior figures outright stating that they, along with his father, have resolved the issue.
Videos and reports have emerged showing a senior politician telling Petkov, "Don’t worry, your father and I have taken care of it," and "Everything is settled," in relation to the ongoing probes by the prosecution service. These remarks come amid allegations of suspected corruption, with Petkov’s father, Hristo Petkov, being questioned in connection with the case.
In a separate instance, another senior figure was captured on video saying, "Your head is high, with your father, we’ve nailed down the situation." These reassurances from senior figures come as Kiril Petkov has maintained his innocence, stating publicly that he has not committed any crime and that the ongoing investigations are politically motivated.
Petkov’s stance has been echoed by his party, We Continue the Change (PP), as they stand behind their leader, denouncing the investigations as an attempted distraction from the government’s achievements.
