Edmonton Police Service officers responded to reports of gunfire at about 1:43 a.m., found the victims with gunshot wounds and, after attempting lifesaving measures, pronounced them dead when EMS arrived.

Investigators are seeking a dark‑coloured SUV that may have been in the area at the time of the shooting and are requesting any dash‑camera or security footage captured between 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 and 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 12.
Officers blocked the street with police tape and kept the scene secured throughout Friday; a Range Rover SUV was towed away later that afternoon.
